The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) invites you to a Trade Talk with Canada’s Ambassador to the WTO, Stephen de Boer, on the future of the WTO and multilateral trade policy. With the U.S. Administration’s focus on re-shaping the flows and rules of international trade and in the context of challenges to globalism and the multilateral trading system, Ambassador de Boer will shed light on how WTO members are responding in Geneva. In addition to describing the positions of the major players, Ambassador de Boer will also summarize a Canadian-led initiative to strengthen and modernize the WTO.
