The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) invites you to a Trade Talk featuring congressional perspectives on U.S.-China trade relations from the U.S.-China Working Group. Terra Sabag from the office of Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA-2) and Ashley Antoskiewicz from the office of Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL-18) will speak about their offices’ efforts as co-chairs of the U.S.-China Working Group, including insights from recent staff engagement with Chinese government officials and U.S. companies in China.

Originally from Nebraska, Terra completed university and law school in Arkansas. Terra began her professional career as Campaign Manager for former Congressman Vic Snyder and subsequently served as his Legislative Assistant in Washington, D.C. until 2005. Terra then served as Senior Legislative Assistant for former Congressman Maurice Hinchey, and later as Legislative Director for former Congresswoman Donna Edwards. In 2012, Terra joined Congressman Rick Larsen’s office where she currently serves as his Deputy Chief of Staff where she oversees his policy operation with a particular focus on trade and foreign affairs.  She has worked on Capitol Hill for over seventeen years.

Ashley Antoskiewicz
Legislative Director, Office of Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL-18)

Ashley Antoskiewicz has served as Legislative Director for Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-18) since October 2015. Congressman LaHood serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and serves as co-chair of the House US-China Working Group. Prior to joining Congressman LaHood’s team, Ashley worked in Congressman Jim Renacci’s (OH-16) office for four and a half years serving in a variety of roles. Ashley graduated from Miami University of Ohio in May 2011 and has a bachelor’s degree in political science.
